Osvaldo or Ob grew up in the Cibao region of the Dominican Republic.  Cibao is located in the northern part of the DR with rich fertile soil ideal for tobacco.  Within the last thirty years Cibao has arguably become the best place on earth for cigar tobacco.

For over 20 years Ob has dedicated his entire life and passion to the cigar world.  In 1993 a younger Ob began his journey and career into tobacco and cigars.  Eager not only to smoke cigars but also to learn about the production, manufacturing, distribution, horticulture, fermentation, and finally to the art of blending and rolling a 100% hand made cigar. Like a great wine maker Ob has studied tobacco leaves mastering his craft to become one of the best blenders in the industry.

By 1996 Ob was learning not only the art of tobacco but the business so well he opened a factory in Tamboril and began rolling his own brand.  His cigars sold in the Latin America and European markets throughout the world.  Today Ob is currently importing the finest cigars and tobacco into the American market.  He is the master blender and owner of his newest cigar line “Pla Cigars” located in Naples, Florida.
